The Propolis Ointment acts with 10% propolis and essential olive oils specifically and with anti-inflammatory effect on irritated skin, blemishes, or cold sores. It soothes, cools and activates the regeneration. Nourishes and repairs the skin. It contains natural ingredients which are gentle on the skin.

This all-natural propolis ointment can be used as a soothing barrier for added protection of a wide range of skin conditions and injuries. It can also be used as a powerful facial moisturiser on deteriorated skins and as a remedying salve for cracked hands and feet.

Its high proportion of organic bee propolis and protective oils and waxes makes it suitable for adding a protective layer to damaged skin due conditions such as rashes, burns, cuts, inflammation, eczema, psoriasis, fungus, etc.

About Propolis:

Propolis (bee glue) is a resinous mixture that honey bees produce by mixing their own enzymes and beeswax with sap and resin gathered from tree buds, sap flows, or other sources. Propolis is believed to be antibacterial, prevent diseases and parasites from entering the hive and to inhibit fungal growth.

The composition of propolis varies from hive to hive and season to season. Normally, it is dark brown in colour. “Typical” northern temperate propolis has approximately 150 constituents, primarily resins and vegetable balsams (50%), waxes (30%), essential oils (10%), and pollen (5%). Propolis also contains persistent lipophilic acaricides, a natural pesticide that deters mite infestations. Other flavonoids commonly present include galangin and pinocembrin.

Propolis is being researched for the potential development of new drugs focusing on a variety of its properties, including those for possible immunomodulatory, anti-diabetic and anti-ulcer applications.

When will you dispatch my order?

We aim wherever possible to dispatch orders received before midday on the day that the order is received. This is not always possible as there are times when a mix may be in progress and products may need to settle prior to shipment. The freshness of your product is important to us. We run ‘low’ stocks to maintain maximum freshness meaning that short delays are sometimes unavoidable.

UK Delivery Options:

Delivery methods vary depending on your preference and the overall parcel weight.

Royal Mail 24 – Royal Mail aim to deliver your parcel next day including Saturdays, however this is not guaranteed and can take 1 – 2 days. This service is only available for parcels up to 2kgs.

Royal Mail 48 – Royal Mail aim to deliver your parcel within 2 – 3 working days. This service is only available for parcels up to 2kgs.

Royal Mail – NEXT DAY DELIVERY: The next day service applies to working days only. Deliveries will not be made over a weekend unless specifically requested. There are cost implications for a weekend delivery but this service can be arranged with us over the telephone. 0774 2221118.

International Delivery Options:

Royal Mail International Tracked – We use Royal Mail for all international order with tracking and they aim to deliver your parcel 5 – 10 working days. This service is only available for parcels up to 2kgs.

NOTE: Please ensure that you are available to receive the delivery from us. If the goods are returned to us by the courier due to no one being available to take delivery we will charge for future delivery attempts. We are always more than happy to deliver to a work address or a friend or family member.
